My wife’s Acura CL is beginning to show some bad signs. The transmission will over-rev in the middle of driving. When this happens, both the "Check Engine" and "TCS" lights will come on. She can temporarily relieve this most of the time by pulling over and restarting the vehicle. I am really hoping this does mean time for a new transmission. Any thoughts? Please help!
Those are sign of a bad transmission.Take it to the dealer ASAP.Those transmissions are known to lock up at highway speeds.
The transmission warranty was extended to 7 years/100,000mi.
